Soap Making 101 (November)

March 3, 2019 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Learn to make soap from scratch.
Cold Process Soap Making

Are you looking to make soap that’s good for you and your family? Or maybe you just love natural and organic products?

We’ll we’re here to help you become the master of soap making.

With this workshop, you’ll be given the knowledge of how to make soap from scratch (cold process) using all-natural ingredients.

A little about cold process soap making — it allows you to combine organic, vegan, cruelty-free, non-GMO, and clean ingredients right at the beginning; which, differs from a melt and pour (hot process) soap class where ingredients and base oils are already made and boiled down. You don’t always know what oils are used in the process or even the quality. There could be fragrance and chemicals that irritate your skin, too. If you’re like me and you don’t 100% know what’s in your soap, that’s not a great feeling and you run the risk of major skin issues.

That’s why Cold Process is fantastic for even the most sensitive skin! With this workshop we’ll teach you all about safety in soap making and how to correctly craft soap. You’ll learn about essential oils and their skin benefits, as well as which base oils to mix and use for specific results. And you’ll learn how to make soap with herbs, teas, and flowers to give your soap that beautiful artistic design, if you like.

Walk out with 2.5 lbs of all-natural soap that’s made just how you like! Fun right?!

After class, a step-by-step guide will be sent out the following day so you have all the knowledge to make your next batch from the comfort of your home, safely.

So join me! You’ll have the opportunity to leverage the skills and knowledge, and learn the best tips and tricks for the ultimate all-natural soap!

Be sure to book early as we have limited spots available.

What do you need to bring?

  • Shoe box
  • Old towel
  • Old apron if you have one (suggested)
  • Long sleeve shirt and pants – old ones if possible!

Cost $150
