Victoria Martin Pognante
Victoria currently lives in Waterloo and grew up in a small town in Patagonia, Argentina.
Back in Argentina she has always been surrounded by nature and enjoyed movement and outdoor activities.
In her teen years she experimented classic dance, Pilates and some yoga. In her early twenties she got
curious about aerial acrobatics such as silk and trapezius, plus kayaking on the near river. Despite the
fact that throughout those years yoga was always around, it wasn’t until 2018 that she realized how
important and sacred her yoga practice was. Yoga is her way to come back home, to calm the maelstrom
of the mind, reconnect with her body and senses and being within the present moment.
Apart from being active and enjoying being outdoors, Victoria strives for being as environmentally
friendly as possible, enjoys cooking, gardening and time with friends, family and her pets.
She holds a College Diploma in Nutrition and Food and another in Culinary. She also studied Ayurveda
and graduated from her 200 hours Yoga teacher training in 2022, with a focus on joint and back health.
