Julie graduated from her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program in January 2018 and jumped right into teaching at Bethany Lee Yoga and Wellness. Julie hopes to combine her 23 years of knowledge in massage with her Ashtanga yoga teachings to create unique classes that build strength and stability, while increasing mobility throughout the body.
Since graduating from YTT, Julie has continued to frequently expand her knowledge in using Yoga Tune Up balls for relieving tension in muscles, fascia and more recently expanding that knowledge to learning techniques to relieve tension in the diaphragm, increasing breath, and inducing relaxation by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system and the vagus nerve.
She also became a Certified FRC Mobility Specialist in Fall 2019 after completing Dr. Andreo Spina’s Functional Range Conditioning seminars. Julie continues to learn new techniques through a myriad of courses and programs that increase her knowledge of the body and how it works so she can provide amazing practices and results for students.
