DESCRIPTION:Yoga Tune Up Selfcare Workshop – Back of Body\n  \nThe amazing and kind soul Julie Fasan will be teaching a unique Yoga Tune-Up Self Care workshop that will give you the tools you need to focus on an a regular at-home practice that relieves stress\, tension\, and pain — in conjunction with your regular yoga practice. \nYou do not need to be an expert in yoga or have even practiced yoga — this is an all levels practice. All tools\, mats\, and props are provided for this class\, so you just need to bring yourself!  \nHere’s a little more about the Yoga Tune-Up Self Care workshop. \nYoga Tune Up® is a fitness therapy format built around the three P’s – Pain\, Posture and Performance. It helps eradicate pain\, improve posture and enhance performance through a unique blend of yoga\, Corrective Exercise\, Self-Massage\, and Breath Strategies. By helping to identify and target your “body blind spots”; areas that are most overused\, underused\, or misused\, YTU heals damaged muscle\, increases strength and establishes healthy movement patterns. \n  \nThe YTU format includes dynamic and static range of motion exercises to target these blind spots to improve proprioception (body sense)\, interoception (physiological listening) and motor control (performance). This format utilizes unique exercises that educate each practitioner about their body biomechanics and their personal relationship to how they use their body on a daily basis. Mindset work surrounds and infuses each YTU lesson so that subtle and gross awareness evolve to help every practitioner live better in their body. \nYoga Tune Up® is a self-care fitness Format that:  \n– Increases your body’s overall strength\n– Relieves pain and stress\n– Helps control weight and makes you feel grounded\n– Bolsters the immune system\n– Improves balance\, flexibility and coordination \nAdditional focus points of release target: \n– Stiff Neck & Headaches\n– TMJ/Tight Jaw\n– Hips and Groin\n– Frozen Shoulder\n– Sciatica & Back Pain\n– IT Band Syndrome\n– Plantar Fasciitis & Foot Pain \nEach workshop will end with a 20 minute guided meditation that will leave you feeling uber zen! \nBe sure to sign up to reserve your spot!
